Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are upgrade elements that can be inserted into armor, weapons and trinkets to give an added benefit. They usually have a higher cost and require the item to be at an appropriate level.
Upgrades are not usually worth the cost for items that have high requirements. This is particularly applicable to items that don't have with a lot of variation like the eth titans.
Glyphs
After reaching level 50, Blizzard’s action-RPG shifts from its streamlined campaign to the final game. This is when things really start to change, with players being pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds that ensure their character's building is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs are a major key to this process. item upgrades and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are a variety of ways to obtain these upgrades however the most popular is by raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs allows you to insert symbols into your text. You can choose them from the menu to the left of the screen. The panel initially displays glyphs in the font in which your cursor is located however, you can also view a different font or type style, and limit the glyphs available to a smaller subset by selecting an option from the options below the Entire Font (for example, Punctuation displays only punctuation symbols). By moving your pointer over the glyph, you will view its CID/GID as well as Unicode value in a tool tip.
The Glyphs Panel will keep the track of your last 35 glyphs, and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you have to expand the panel to ensure you can see all 35). You can also remove any glyph that is not listed by clicking it using the right-click option or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
Another advantage of the Glyphs panel is that it permits you to create and modify an individual glyph set which is beneficial when you have to type certain types of text frequently. This will prevent you from having to manually insert every glyph whenever you need it.
A custom glyph can be made up of up to 30 glyphs. This includes the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs used in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9), and underscore (_). The suffix may include ligatures, or contextual alternates. These are special versions which combine two or more letters into a single glyph.
Reroll Tokens

Reroll Tokens are used to change the item's base stats and upgrade number. They can also be used to reroll substats in rings. This is helpful if a player wants to upgrade an item however the "potential" power of the item is not what they want. Or, if their item's substats aren't ideal.
Rerolling an item is costing 1 token and will reset the upgrades, however it will keep the rarity, set, and level intact. Leveling an item up increases its rank, and with each tier, the main stat is boosted by +3, and a random extra stat is added to it. Leveling an item to its max possible level increases its tier by 1.
The Blueprint Desk is a tool that lets players purchase new appliances, ingredients and Decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints are provided at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing the Grab. Each blueprint is branded with a distinct icon, and each category of upgradable item displaying different icons:
Selecting a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to purchase certain equipment or ingredients that are required for some recipes. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, which means that they won't be available in the Shop or on rerolls, while others have a greater chance of appearing when a specific franchise card is chosen at the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items in it will remain in that pool for the rest of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product made of recycled materials, you're not only helping the environment, but also giving the item new life. This is because the majority of products that are recycled go back to the manufacturer who originally made the item to be remanufactured into a new product. We call this "closing of the loop of recycling."
If a person throws something in their recycling bin on the curb the item is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) where it is separated and sorted into its various components. Then it is sold to end-user manufacturers to be transformed into something new. Remade products include:
This reduces the need to harvest, grow or extract raw materials to make something else. This reduces the amount of harm that is caused to the natural environment and less trees are removed and rivers diverted, and wild animals displaced. This also reduces the amount of pollution caused by the dumping of raw materials into our water, soil and the air.
Recycling products can help keep local businesses and jobs thriving particularly for those who specialize in recycling materials. The demand for recycled items makes companies more inclined to take part in this environmentally friendly effort.
The last reason to purchase recycled items is that it requires less energy to create new items out of recycled material than to create them from raw materials. This is because the manufacturing process of creating a brand new aluminum can requires 95% more energy than the production of an identical aluminum can made from recycled materials. Every little part is important.
Leveling
The majority of units can be leveled up and gain XP every time they attack or are attacked. This XP is used to unlock upgrades or increase the primary stat of the unit. Weapons are an excellent example, as they can improve their level and increase their damage as well as range.
